I am a busy endocrinology, diabetes and hormone specialist working in Australia leading a team of diabetes health professionals.
I originally trained at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical Schools in London (now part of Imperial Medical School, London) and obtained a BSc in Histopathology as well as my medical degree and qualified in 1996.
Becoming a specialist is certainly not easy and aside from the 6 years at medical school, I spent another 10 years developing expertise in my field. I am a recognised physician with specialist qualifications in both the UK and Australia (which were superbly difficult to pass!).
The last six years have seen much of my time developing and completing My Health Explained using the experience from years of seeing patients to provide a solution that works.
